Women's Day

Well with so many people wishing all the women today I could not help but post an update. Have you ever actually made a woman happy? Lets start with your Mother. Do you ask her how her day was after you come home and start commanding her around the house?
What about your sister? Did you make sure your elder sister got married to a sensible guy who would actually keep her happy and not abuse her? Do you make sure your younger sister is not lecherously gazed upon when she walks down the road?
And your girlfriends? You might have had a couple of them, that's fine. But did you stop calling her names, because after all it was all her fault that you broke up. And then you have all your female friends and colleagues, you may comment and post on Facebook and be sympathetic towards rape victims, but do you make sure they are well protected, and I don't mean clothes. Why do husbands sound like their wives are a burden to them?
Women are the most beautiful creation on Earth, may be that is the reason we are the most vulnerable. Respect women, care for us and above all don't tamper with our sanctity.

Now, to all the women.. be happy forever not just today.

Who are We?

‘Converse, Act, Inspire, Lead, Change’ – five words which outline Climate Leaders India Network. Our mission is to help communities around the country address environmental, economic and social challenges to build a better future shaped and shared by all. By unleashing the power of people we intend to transform their communities. Our approach ensures solutions emerge from within the community, rather than being imposed from the outside. By combining technical expertise and leadership training with strategic investments in local organizations, we are sparking creative solutions and lasting change. CLeaIN is an attempt to tackle various problems arising from climate change and related environmental issues by waking up the Indian youth to unleash the leadership potential in them.
CLeaIN intends to help local climate and energy practitioners accomplish their climate-related goals by sharing best practices; connecting them to their peers in other cities and to leading national experts; building their capacity to access, and effectively use, available funding sources; providing them with easier access to the best available tools and resources; and facilitating collaboration with their regional, state and national counterparts. We get people involved in shaping their future and cultivate local talent, enabling people to become strong advocates and effective leaders in their communities.
